The story revolves around a lonely, neglected boy who wishes to take revenge from his high school bullies. The boy befriends his twelve-year-old, next-door neighbor, Abby, a quite peculiar girl who also happens to be an ancient vampire. The movie is a remake of the original Let the Right One In however, as far as remakes go, this one leaves its audience satisfied and without any question, creeped out. The acting is faultless and correctly displays the emotions and vulnerability of a teenager. It is, however, important to mention that the use of clumsy CGI slightly removes the haunting aspect of the original.
