Films Ranked was built to showcase the greatest movies in different genres. Each list takes into account genre acclaim, prestige, popularity, and awards. Each list can both provide an introduction into a genre and also challenge film buffs who are looking to round out their knowledge.

I’m the creator of Films Ranked, Adam Call Roberts. I’m an amateur movie buff who lives in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas.

I’ve been studying film since I was a teenager. I produced and hosted a movie review show on campus television in college and wrote reviews for the school’s paper. Those days are long gone, but I have a life-long goal of watching the greatest 1,000 movies of all-time.
