Beyoncé is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born in Houston, Texas, in 1981 and rose to fame as the lead singer of the R&B girl group Destiny's Child. In 2003, she released her first solo album, "Dangerously in Love," which spawned the hit singles "Crazy in Love" and "Baby Boy" and earned her five Grammy Awards.
