    Biography

    Björk is an Icelandic singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born in Reykjavík, Iceland, in 1965 and first gained recognition as the lead singer of the alternative rock band The Sugarcubes. Björk began her solo career in the early 1990s and has released nine studio albums, including her 1993 album “Debut” and her 2015 album “Vulnicura.” She is known for her distinctive, otherworldly vocal style and her experimental, avant-garde musical approach, which incorporates elements of electronic, dance, and classical music. Björk has won several awards throughout her career, including a Golden Globe Award, and has been nominated for numerous Grammy Awards. She has also acted in several films and television shows.
